Mazda Advances Optimization Research Using RICOS’ AI-CAE Algorithm

ICOS Co. Ltd. (Chiyoda, Tokyo; CEO: Yu Ihara, “RICOS”), a company dedicated to enhancing product design efficiency and value creation through AI and simulation technology, announces the launch of an optimization research initiative in collaboration with Mazda Motor Corporation (President & CEO: Masahiro Moro, “Mazda”).
Mazda is integrating AI-CAE tools with optimization methodologies to advance its research and development of airflow control inside a car cabin. By leveraging these computational technologies Mazda will streamline exploration of the flow fields that meet specific requirements and clarification of physical phenomena, and aims to improve cabin comfort and reduce air conditioning energy consumption.
